This is a great birthday gift for a friend. Fine craftsmanship and quality fabric.
Not much of a placemat when it’s just flimsy fabric. It needs some interior stability like a padding or batting to be considered a “mat”. This is just 2 pieces of fabric sewn together. Did not meet our expectations.

The placemats are well made. I love the fabric design. The problem is - I didn't "measure" the size when ordering and didn't realize these mats are smaller than standard. I will still use them, but if they were normal size they would have gotten a 5-star rating.
